The following updates were made to the GoodLooking platform, Production version (app.goodlooking.company):
Platform:
Clinical (BUG): Fixed a bug with clinical documentation not printing if the visit was manually confirmed but not passed through care validation.
Clinical (PDN): Several updates to the Private Duty Nursing shift note were made, including:
Users are no longer allowed to document future dates or times. This new validation requires visits to be scheduled on or before the current date/time (based on the user’s timezone) before documentation is allowed.
Shift notes are now locked unless they are in SCHEDULED status. A button has been added to UNCONFIRMED visits that allows the nurse to unlock the visit to fix documentation, as long as the visit has not been passed through care validation.
The date and time of the visit will now be locked once the patient/caregiver signs the note.
The patient/caregiver signature panel now displays the date & times of the note as an added validation to ensure the nurse properly documents shift times.
Medication interventions/MARs now take into account the end date of the medication, even if the intervention is set to a later date.
BUG fix: Forms can now be uploaded to individual interventions.
BUG fix: Medication teaching sheets now print correctly for clients with active medication database modules.
SECURITY: GPS coordinates are now captured for every visit answer at the time the answer is saved. Previously, GPS coordinates were only captured at clock-in and clock-out.
A new PRN option was added to Care Plan Interventions allowing an intervention to occur at a scheduled time as well as PRN.
BUG: The Assigned To spotlight on calendar events was updated to display ON HOLD employees who were previously assigned to the event.
A “Backup Caregiver” designation option has been added to patient contacts. This will assist clients in states that require a designated backup to easily document compliance to those requirements.
BUG: A bug that displayed incorrect intervention dates on visit note printouts has been corrected. Previously, if a nurse re-answered an intervention, the date could be updated to a new date. That ability has now been restricted.
An update to the Care Validation summary screen now allows for an Assessment or Reassessment to be passed/returned for Diagnosis Coding and/or Plan of Care validation. This allows companies to utilize a three-tier compliance program where assessments can first be validated for clinical, then diagnosis coding, then plan of care creation. Each validation can be completed by one or more validators, allowing for use by external experts.
An update was made for the use and printing of custom forms as events on the calendar. This allows for more extensive use of non-system, custom forms for a whole host of reasons such as vehicle inspections, non-healthcare jobs, and meetings.
The Client/Patient Portal was updated to now include Proposals and Invoices, allowing clients to view, accept, and pay deposits and invoices online.

For facility-based clients, a new Check-In Kiosk feature was added, allowing the system to operate in kiosk mode. Clients with appointments can now walk into the facility and use the kiosk to “check in” for appointments. This feature is also linked to the Client Portal, allowing clients to complete their paperwork immediately upon check in.
Several major enhancements have been made to the Tracking (ie. - governance) module utilized throughout the system. Multiple files can now be uploaded and combined into one “file group” and attached to a tracking item. This allows users to take pictures/scan multi-page documents using a mobile phone or tablet and upload them into one file. This also gives the added benefit of creating file groups that contain files with different formats. For example, a CFOs can now upload a financial Profit & Loss statement as a PDF file and also include related Excel files and PNG images, and view the entire group as one collection.
BUG: The Map for routing & scheduling was updated to fix a bug that kept the map from displaying for certain users.
Proposals were updated to include Files, Notes, and More tabs (similar to Invoices).
Proposals are now displayed on the Client Financial screen below Invoices for easy access.
BUG: A minor calendar bug was fixed that kept the date display from changing when going back several months at a time.
BUG: A minor audit log bug was fixed that kept the audit log details from displaying for certain users.
The CRM was updated to include additional filter options for Priority, Potential, and Status Attribute. This should help sales teams during 1 on 1s to view individual sales pipelines better.
